Paraskevi Trifyllis

Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Paraskevi is a psychotherapist and counsellor working with adults and young people. She holds a Master in Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy, a MPhil in Social Anthropology and a BA (Hons) in Religious Studies.

Paraskevi has work experience with carers from diverse ethnic backgrounds, refugees, migrants, cultural and/or religious minorities, university students, and people living with chronic mental health issues.

She treats her clients as whole beings, resourceful and with agency, while her therapeutic role is to facilitate the discovery and utilising of their inner resources. Her therapeutic stance draws upon a person-centered, narrative, somatic, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approach.

Paraskevi supports people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, coping skills, co-dependency, and existential issues.

She is registered with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

She speaks English and Greek.
